A visionary genius, and an amazing human being, Srikant Reddy was truly an inspiring mentor and a brilliant leader, guiding Palred Group into a new age revolution that only he could have built.
A technocrat, entrepreneur, politician, and as most knew him, a philanthropist, Srikanth Reddy was a remarkable individual on every level. He possessed an exceptional intellect and a passion to solve some of the world’s most difficult problems. Srikanth was convinced that creative thinking and new approaches make a profound and lasting impact. His deep love & commitment to his work provided the foundation and inspiration for the emergence of the Palred Group as a trusted symbol of quality and excellence.
An Industrial Engineering Graduate from REC, Trichy, and a Post-Graduate in Industrial Engineering from Stanford University, USA, Palem Srikanth Reddy started his career in logistics at Hewlett Packard (Singapore) and subsequently became the Joint Venture Partner of Emery (now UPS) in India. He then started Four Soft Limited in 1999 which became the leading provider of software products for transportation, logistics, freight forwarding, and supply-chain management. The business was sold to Transport IT Solutions Private Limited, a part of UK-based Kewill Group, in August 2013 to enter the e-commerce space. Four Soft was rechristened as Palred Technologies Limited and entered the start-up business by acquiring Hyderabad-based Premium Web Services Private Limited’s computer peripherals and mobile accessories retailing portal – www.deals15.com. LatestOne, an e-commerce venture was founded in 2014, that sold computer peripherals and accessories for digital devices. The firm also ventured into its own brand (pTron) to sell mobile accessories. Later, it allied with e-commerce major Amazon to sell Xmate line of smart products. He was also the founder & President of Janapaalana, a political party, convenor of Justice PC Reddi Trust, and chairman of Modern Rayalaseema Development Trust.
Those of us who have been fortunate enough to know and work with Srikanth, have lost an inspiring mentor and feel an inexpressible loss. Srikanth’s legacy lives on in the lives he has inspired and positively impacted. We have lost a guiding force and the world has lost a pioneer. Srikanth Reddy leaves behind a company that only he could have built, and his spirit will forever be the foundation of Palred.
